Reading have two current players out on loan, both of which have been in action over the past seven days.

Let's see how they got on.

Reading Chronicle:

Luke Southwood

It has been a week to forget for the goalkeeper, shipping EIGHT goals in just two matches.

After a disappointing 3-2 defeat to Peterborough United on the opening weekend, after being 2-0 up, the Robins lost 1-0 at Oakwell to fellow relegated side Barnsley.

Two days later they hosted Exeter City in the Carabao Cup opening round, only to go on and lose 7-0.

Having conceded five in the first half, a better display in the second period was no consolation for Wade Elliott's side who are yet to pick up a point this season.

Southwood has joined the Gloucestershire outfit on a season-long loan and has featured in every game so far.

Reading Chronicle:

Jeriel Dorsett

The 20-year-old defender departed Berkshire on Friday to join Scottish Premiership side Kilmarnock.

Making his debut at the next available match, away to Europa League finalists Rangers, Killie conceded two second half goals to lose 2-0 at Ibrox.

According to BBC Sport player ratings he scored 5.66, a middle-of-the-road score in comparison to his teammates.

Due to spend a year at Rugby Park, fingers crossed he can impress as much as he did with Rochdale- winning their Young Player of the Season award.
