A man in his seventies had his hip fractured after he was allegedly kicked by a teenage boy in Sainsbury’s.
The incident occurred at around 7.45pm on July 5, 2022 at the entrance of Sainsbury’s in Hectors Way, Newbury.
The man, in his seventies, was approached by the youngster before he reportedly kicked the man from behind causing him to the floor and fracture his hip.
He was taken to hospital but he has since been discharged.
Investigating officer, PC Grant Summersbee, based at Newbury police station, said: “We are releasing a CCTV image of a boy who we believe may have vital information in connection this incident.
