A spate of vehicles have been targeted by thieves or criminally damaged in four roads on the same night.
The crimes occcured in Newbury and Tilehurst, though police have not suggested they are linked.
A Ford Transit van containing tools was stolen from Collingwood Walk, Tilehurst overnight between July 25 and 26.

An offender scratched the paint work of a vehicle in Bartholomew Street, Newbury, in the same night between 10.20pm and 8.20am.

Catalytic converters were stolen from two vehicles in Priory Road, Newbury, between July 25 and 26.
One was taken between 6pm and 8am and the other between 2am and 2.30am.
Between 2am and 9am on July 26, another catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle in Chestnut Court, Newbury.
