A Datchet man has been jailed after spitting at two police officers.
Ryan Gilles, of Bechill Road, admitted being drunk and disorderly at Reading Station on July 11, 2022.
On the same date and at the same location, the 25-year-old assaulted two emergency workers.
According to a court file, Gilles assaulted the police officers by spitting at them.
For these offences, the Datchet man was sentenced to 28 weeks in prison as the offence was ‘so serious’ and because of his ‘previous record’, the court file indicated.
He must pay a £154 victim surcharge.
Gilles appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, July 12.
