SEVERAL restaurants across Berkshire are in the running to pick up a prize at the English Curry Awards next month.
Leading the way ahead of the ceremony in Birmingham is Sandhurst's Raj Tandoor.
The Bracknell Forest restaurant has been shortlisted for one prize - takeaway and Home Delivery of the Year.

Sizzling Spice in Reading is also shortlisted for this award.
Vying for the south east’s chef of the year is three county eateries – The Tamarind Tree in Wokingham,The Mita’s in Twyford and Sunninghill's Maya's chef.
Five Berkshire restaurants are competing for the south east’s curry restaurant of the year.
These are: The Mita’s (Twyford), The Tamarind Tree (Wokingham), Maya (Sunninghill), Chilis Indian Restaurant (Newbury) and the Spice Merchant (Maidenhead).
Three Reading restaurants have also been nominated for the Kitchen of the Year Award.
These are Clay’s Hyderabadi Kitchen, Jalpari of Woodley and Dhaulagiri kitchen cafe & restaurant.
