The 2022 Women's European Championship gets underway next week (Wednesday, July 6) as host nation England take on Austria at Old Trafford.
Although none of Kelly Chambers' side are representing any of the home nations, there are still three Reading players battling it out on the biggest stage to make their respective countries proud.
Belgium; Justine Vanhaevermaet
Arriving in Berkshire in August 2021, Vanhaevermaet's first season in English football ended with three goals in 23 appearances.
Having played for sides in countries such as Norway, Belgium and Germany, the well-travelled 30-year-old is a regular for her national team.
Denmark; Sanne Troelsgaard
The third-highest goalscorer in Denmark history, 33-year-old Troelsgaard arrived in Reading last summer, making 14 appearances.
With 160 caps for her country under her belt, and named Denmark Female Footballer of the Year in 2011, she brings great experience to the 2017 European Championship runners up.
Norway; Amalie Eikeland
Coming into the tournament off the back of a sterling season for the Royals, the 26-year-old picked up the Player of the Season and Players' Player of the Season.
Two-time winners of the competition in the 1980s and 1990s, she will be hoping to bring the glory back to Norway.
