There is no commitment to a deal yet. The Belgian side are exploring his fitness levels ahead of any contract offer but the 33-year old is available on a free.

Released by Steve Bruce over the summer, the 33-year-old was once again a free agent and reports were circling linking the former England international with a move to the continent.
However, the Daily Mail has since reported that he "failed to impress" the powers that be in the Belgian capital and have decided against signing the 6ft 4in centre-forward.
Popular in Berkshire for his work rate and ability to conjure up magic, his career has been blighted with injury.
He has failed to make more than 20 league appearances in a season since 2015-16.
Now without a club heading into the final month before the season begins, it leaves the door open to other options.
