Reading midfielder Andy Rinomhota has attracted attention from two Championship rivals, according to reports.

The 25-year-old is out of contract come July 1 and is yet to sign the offer on the table at Bearwood to keep him in Berkshire.

Player of the Season in 2019, the Leeds born midfielder has progressed through the youth ranks with the Royals to make almost 150 appearances.

According to a report from BristolLive, interest in the star at Ashton Gate has diminished but there are still offers from Cardiff City and Stoke City- as well as Reading.

Paul Ince has already lost one of his key central players with Josh Laurent joining the Potters earlier in the week.

Rinomhota would become the third former Royals midfielder on the book at Stoke if he were to sign following deals with Laurent and Lewis Baker.

The Bluebirds, who have already been the busiest in the market, look to be pushing hard to convince iconic forward Gareth Bale to sign for his boyhood club ahead of a first World Cup for Wales since 1958.

Rumours have been circulating that Rinomhota can be seen in the Reading pre-season training videos released by the club, although that is no sure sign that he will sign as he is still under contract for a week and therefore allowed to partake in training.
