Former Reading FC goalkeeper Graham Stack has left his role at Championship rivals Watford.

Predominantly a Cup keeper in Berkshire, he played eight games in two years under Steve Coppell before becoming a regular with Hibernian and Barnet.

The 40-year-old arrived at Vicarage Road in 2018 and took on a series of roles, including most recently Head of Academy Goalkeeping.

Alongside fellow former Royal Hayden Mullins, Stack took charge of four first team matches at the end of the 2019/20 Premier League campaign and worked with Nigel Pearson and the first team on a regular basis.

Hornets’ Chairman and CEO, Scott Duxbury, said: "We’d like to wish Graham all the very best for the next step in his coaching career.

"Alongside Hayden Mullins, twice he stepped in to help coach the first team in difficult circumstances and proved a popular figure among the playing staff and other coaches, so I have no doubt he’ll be a great success in whatever he chooses to do next.”
