A group of walkers from Reading have raised almost £4,000 for a breast cancer charity.

Martin Kahl, Susan Brown, Varsha Kahl, Vicky Clamp and Darren Brown walked miles across London on Saturday, May 14, for Walk the Walk.

Susan Brown, from Reading, explained why she took part in The MoonWalk.

“Four years ago I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. At 42, with young children, it's a scary place to be. I had a double mastectomy, 20 weeks of chemo and six weeks of radiotherapy. Fortunately, I can call myself a survivor now and I wanted to support this charity so that many more women and men can be survivors too! Darren and I proudly decorated our bras and walked with friends together as 'Team Brown.'”

The team decorated their bras with Wonder Woman designs to fit the ‘your hero’ theme.

They raised almost £4,000 by reaching out to friends, family and colleagues from all over the world.
