Reading favourite Andy Carroll is a free agent again after being released by West Brom following the end of his short-term contract.
The former England international striker joined the Royals in November and endeared himself to the supporters with his work-rate and eye for a goal.
The Geordie netted twice with the Berkshire club, both away from home against Swansea City and Middlesbrough, before departing at the end of January.
