Nothing beats cold water in the hot sun, and at Reading’s inflatable aquapark you can have fun in both.
Inflatable slides, obstacles and climbing walls are available at Lagoona Park in Pingewood Road.
The waterpark, which has been open since 2017, was captured in stunning ariel photos taken by Tony McGinn.

It costs £15 for 50 minutes in the park, or if that doesn’t take your fancy, there are water bikes for a gentle cycle across the water.
Or stand up paddle in the 25-acre lake, followed by a trip to the beach bar for cocktails and live music.
An inflatable castle is available for the little ones on the water too.
