1. Reading kebab van that's been in the same place for 23 years relocates

Reading Chronicle:

The owner of a kebab van who’s had a history of trading in the town for 23 years has moved to a new location in Reading.

The well known kebab van Mo’s Kebabs, which was previously in Church Street, has now moved to Richfield Avenue.

The van’s owner, Muhammet Alpar, said he had to move his van from its original location in Caversham due to a change in land ownership.

2. Key route to be closed from Friday (and it won’t reopen for a week)

DRIVERS have been made aware of a road closure taking place for a whole week.

Wokingham Borough Council is carrying out roadworks on the Blackboy Roundabout, Shinfield from next week.

Reading Chronicle:

There will be a road closure in place on the roundabout from Thursday, May 26 until Wednesday, June 1 from 8pm until 6am.

The authority said this is to 'carry out plane and inlay resurfacing works'.

3. Men charged as part of murder probe following man's petrol station death

Reading Chronicle:

Two men have been charged after the death of a man, 51, in a Lower Earley petrol station.

On March 31 last year, Jason Page sadly died outside the BP petrol station in Chalfont Way.

Following a police investigation Sabeur Trabelsi, 43, of Kings Road Reading has been charged with one count each of manslaughter and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

4. "It’s a huge club": Wycombe Wanderers boss on future of Reading FC

Wycombe Wanderers manager Gareth Ainsworth stated that a role at Reading would interest him in the future.

49-year-old Ainsworth has been at the Buckinghamshire-based club since 2010, first as a player but as the boss since 2012.

Reading Chronicle:

Leading the Chairboys to the Championship in 2020, the club are 90 minutes away from a second tier return as they face Sunderland in next week’s League One play-off final.

5. TikTok parkour video goes viral as man catapults himself off The Hexagon

Reading Chronicle:

A group of parkour freerunners have gone viral on TikTok after jumping from the top of the Hexegon Theatre.

Red Bull Australia posted on Tik Tok a clip of one of the men catapulting and sliding down one of the buildings many columns.

The man that demonstrated the trick somersaulted from the balcony on the first floor by the entrance to the building.
