Details of the first team, Under-23 and Under-18 players who have been offered professional deals as the club also wish those departing the very best of luck in the next stage of their careers... 👏
Six first team players have been released following the culmination of their current deals, such as goalkeeper Orjan Nyland and midfielder Alen Halilovic.
However somewhere in between remain Swift, Michael Morrison and Junior Hoilett- who have neither been offered new deals but who have not entirely been let go.
In a statement released by the club, it confirmed: “At present, following talks between the club and the players, new contracts have not been issued in writing to Junior Hoilett, Michael Morrison and John Swift.

"However, Head of Football Operations, Mark Bowen, has engaged in conversations with all three and their agents and, whilst officially they are being released at the end of their current contracts, dialogue is continuing during the close season period and both the club and the players in question may opt to re-enter negotiations in the coming weeks.”
This comes as attacking midfielder Swift, with 11 goals and 13 assists to his name last season, has attracted heavy interest from sides such as West Brom and Burnley.
Despite arriving only last summer, Canada international Hoilett contributed three goals and two assists in 27 appearances and veteran defender Morrison has made more than 100 appearances since arriving in 2019, captaining the side for most of last season.
