Reading have offered seven first team players new contracts ahead of the 2022/23 season, according to reports.
As things stand, 14 players are set to walk away from the Select Car Leasing Stadium next month, including vital stars such as John Swift, Josh Laurent, and Andy Rinomhota.
Already attracting attention, the club need to act fast if they are to tempt the players to commit their futures to RG2.

In the last two days alone, midfield pair Laurent and Rinomhota have been targeted by Championship rivals Cardiff City and Bristol City respectively, according to reports.
According to BerkshireLive, the three aforementioned have been offered deals alongside Tom Holmes, Andy Yiadom, Femi Azeez and Junior Hoilett.
On top of this, Under-23s players including Jahmari Clarke, Mamadi Camara and Rochdale Young Player of the Season Jeriel Dorsett have also been offered extensions.
This leaves the likes of Orjan Nyland and Alen Halilovic out of contract and free to discuss their futures with other clubs.

The Royals have until this weekend to formally submit their retained list, which will give a firm idea of who the club intend to keep hold of ahead of Paul Ince’s first pre-season in charge.
