Popular Reading FC midfielder Andy Rinomhota is on the shortlist of Championship rivals Bristol City, according to reports.
The Leeds-born Academy graduate has made more than 120 appearances for the Royals since bursting onto the scene in 2018, winning Player of the Season in 2019.
One of 14 players out of contract at the end of the season, it is no surprise to see clubs interested in the 25-year-old.
According to BristolLive, the combative central-midfielder are expected to open discussions before the end of the month over a move to Ashton Gate ahead of next season.
With a transfer embargo and an EFL plan to adhere to, it is very likely that better offers can be found elsewhere, although according to BerkshireLive the former AFC Porchester player has been offered a new deal to stay in RG2.
Speaking to BBC Berkshire's Tim Dellor after the 1-0 defeat to West Brom, he said: "There are still a lot of things which can happen. I'm not too sure myself and I can't really explain any more in any detail.
"There are discussions with the club but it's a bit back and forth but we'll see what happens in the next few weeks. I'm not saying I'm definitely leaving or anything like that. I've been happy at Reading over the past five or six years, have really enjoyed my time here and one way or another I'm looking forward to see what happens."
