A BOY has been left 'seriously injured' in a crash after police officers chased a 'getaway driver'.

A CCTV image of a man has been released who officers want to speak to in connection with an incident which took place at around 2pm on May 15 on Station Road, Cippenham.

A white Kia Sportage travelled from Burnham Lane through a no entry sign and the wrong way under the railway bridge to get away from police.

As officers chased the vehicle, their car was involved in a crash with a grey Volvo.

The collision caused minor injuries to a man in his fifties and serious injuries to a young boy.
