Reading Borough Council are to reopen a popular outdoor paddling pool before the month is up.
The Christchurch Meadows pool will open on May 28, making the play area and Greenland the perfect place for a family picnic.

The 28 x 12m pool is situated next to the River Thames alongside a climbing frame and swing set.
A spokesperson for Reading Borough Council said: “We are delighted that our popular paddling pool at Christchurch Meadows will be up and running for the start of the half-term on Saturday 28 May.
"The well-loved site will be available for all kinds of good family fun throughout the weekend and in the run up to the long four-day weekend Jubilee Celebrations.
The council are currently a deep cleaning the pool, replacing filters and fixing leaks ahead of the opening.
