A man grabbed a woman in the middle of the night and demanded money from her in a Reading robbery.

He approached the woman, aged in her thirties, from behind and made the grab, causing her to fall to the floor.

The offender demanded money and then her phone during the incident at 3.45am in Cintra Park, Cintra Avenue, on May 7.

Investigating officer, DC Miriam Virgo, based at Reading police station, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this incident to get in touch.
