EMERGENCY services have confirmed why an air ambulance landed in a park in Woodley yesterday (May 12).
On Thursday, a Thames Valley Air Ambulance helicopter was seen hovering above Woodley, as well as several neighbourhoods.
After circling the area, the air ambulance eventually landed in Vauxhall park Woodley.
It has been revealed that the medical personnel had attended at a house next to the park.
A statement from the South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) said: “The Thames Valley Air Ambulance was one of a number of resources we sent to a serious medical emergency in a patient’s home nearby."
