The Trinity Band performed their first concert of 2022 this month in the Michael Malnick centre at Leighton Park School.

The Mayor of Earley welcomed everyone to the concert, where he commented how pleased he was to witness the concert.

On April 2, the band performed their song and dance consort for their 21st year.

It has grown immensely from it’s founding in 2001 where it first began to practice in Trinity Church in Earley. This is how it received it’s name.

The Mayor noted how proud she was that the award winning symphonic wind band had its roots in Earley.

The concert had a wide variety of music from Dances with Wolves to the Emerald isles toe tapping Riverdance.

The concert was also sponsoring the local charity Cowshed, which is the band’s chosen charity for all the concerts this year.

Further concerts are planned for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in June and the band’s 21st anniversary in September.
