Reading FC average away attendances have grown year on year for the last three seasons with fans.
With all 23 away matches confirmed the Royals have averaged 958 across the 2021/22 campaign, placing them 22nd in comparison to the rest of Championship.
Relegated pair Peterborough United and Barnsley sat below Reading, with 792 and 860 respectively.
This is an increase of more than 200 from the 2018/19 season which saw an average of 715 travelling fans per match.

This is also a small increase on the stats from 2019/20, which stood at 920, although the caveat is that the season was suspended midway through after the outbreak of Covid-19.
Five sides have averaged more than 2,000 per match, such as West Brom, Birmingham City, Nottingham Forest, Sheffield United and Middlesbrough.
A sell-out crowd of just over 1,000 followed Paul Ince’s side to Luton Town on Saturday for the final match of the season, with local matches such as Fulham and QPR also seeing bumper crowds from Berkshire.
