Reading Player of the Season, Andy Yiadom, is close to agreeing terms on a new contract- according to reports.
The full-back has made over 120 appearances since arriving in 2018 and was voted as the club's Player of the Season this year by supporters.
Currently less than 10 players are contracted beyond the summer, making this end of season break a crucial period for the Royals as they look to navigate a transfer embargo and Profit and Sustainability regulations.
According to BerkshireLive, the Ghana international is "keen to remain" at the SCL Stadium and talks are onging.
This comes just 24 hours after the same outlet reported that former manager Mark Bowen is expected to return in an "executive role" after leaving AFC Wimbledon this month.

Speaking to the media last week ahead of the final match of a season, a 1-0 defeat to Luton Town, the 30-year-old said: "I like the club, especially this end of the season, there’s been a great family vibe. I’m going to speak with my family and see what we come up with."
