Reading named one of the safest places to live in UK
READING has been named as one of the safest town to live in the UK.
Get Licensed has looked at factors including how safe the location feels to locals, how safe it is to get a taxi, drug, weapon and violent offences.
Research has revealed Reading as the 6th safest place to live in the UK with a Safety Index Score of 6.58.
According to the data, Reading has the UK's fourth lowest level of street crime, with only 0.057 crimes recorded per 1,000 residents and just 0.039 weapons possessed per 1000 residents.
Warrington is named as the safest place to live with a safety index score of 7.81.
