The ‘Big Jubilee Lunch’ is all set to go ahead this summer, Woodley Town Council has announced. 

The mayor and special guests will be in attendance on Sunday June 5 to celebrate The Queen’s platinum jubilee. 

The event will take place between 12pm and 4pm at Woodley Town Centre, near Centre Stage, which will iinclude live music, craft activities and a pet's corner.

Mayor, Councillor Janet Sartorel, said: "I am honoured to represent the people of Woodley at the council’s Jubilee Lunch to commemorate The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and to thank her for her tireless dedication to our country. 

“I am also looking forward to celebrating with the winners of the Council’s Jubilee stones competition and sharing the prestigious Top Table with them and their families. I hope to see many residents of Woodley attend the free event to celebrate. 

“The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and come together to celebrate the wonderful community of Woodley.”
