Maverick winger Glen Little is the latest star confirmed for the 150th anniversary legends fixture later this month.

A 2005/06 title winning team managed by Steve Coppell is set to come up against the 2011/12 title winning team managed by Brian McDermott.

The club have announced that every day this week a new member of the 2005/06 team is being announced ahead of the fixture on Saturday, May 21.

On Monday, American winger Bobby Convey was revealed to be attending- a key squad member who appeared in 45 of the 46 league matches that season.

The former USA international spent his entire career, bar five seasons with the Royals, in the MLS from 2000-2014.

Today (03/05) it is the turn of the opposite winger to be announced, with Little and Convey tearing full backs apart in the famous season.

The Burnley legend played more than 100 times in three spells for the club, contributing five goals in 35 matches during the 2005/06 campaign.

 

 

Three more individuals will be released at 1.06pm for the rest of the week in the build up to kick-off in just under three weeks.

Icons such as Jobi McAnuff, Graeme Murty and Kevin Doyle have already been confirmed.
