Next week Reading FC will announce five legends that have agreed to play in the exhibition match next month.
As a final curtain on the club’s 150th anniversary celebrations, a team made up of 2006 Championship winners, managed by Steve Coppell, will play a team of 2012 Championship winners, managed by Brian McDermott.

So far, the likes of Jobi McAnuff, Graeme Murty, Kevin Doyle and Stephen Hunt have already been announced ahead of the game on May 21, but more are to come next week.
The club have revealed that at exactly 1.06pm every weekday, they will announce a new member of the 2005/06, 106-point, team who will play under Coppell once more.
The likes of Leroy Lita, Bobby Convey and Glen Little were all part of the team and are yet to be formally confirmed, although winger Little has hinted his involvement on Twitter.

One player who won’t be playing is Dave Kitson, who exclusively told the Reading Chronicle that he feels “uncomfortable endorsing what Reading Football Club stands for today.”

With just over three weeks until the kick-off, many are preparing for the run-out.
Speaking exclusively to the Reading Chronicle, former captain Jem Karacan joked: "I need to do some fitness work so when this anniversary game comes around I can smash a few people!

"I've got my eye on a few of the older pros who we used to clean boots for."
One of the two managers, 2012 title-winner McDermott, added: "It'll be nice to get back and see everyone- I'm really looking forward to it!"
