Tom Hardy was spotted by Danielle Marie Roberts in Thatcham and Nikki Knight remembers Lionel Blair smiling at her when she was working in Tesco at 15.

Naomi Beales recalls seeing Joanna Page in Mothercare in Caversham Road as she was buying her children shoes.

She said: "I was getting the girls school shoes and my mum was talking to Joanna Page, she was also getting her children shoes. My mum didn’t have a clue who we were talking too until I told her."

It is no surprise that Hollywood celebrities like George Clooney are spotted near Reading, when they live in Sonning.

Michael Cordova spotted George Clooney and his wife Amal at Bucklebury Farm Park with their two kids.

TV favourite Sir Lenny Henry has been seen a few times walking around the town centre by Chronicle readers.
