A homeowner in Woodley has applied to build an extension which would provide his house with a family room.

The applicant has applied to build the extension to the rear of the home in Colemans Moor Road in Woodley.

The semi-detached house currently has a front extension which provides the home with a porch, and on the ground floor his family currently make use of a modest living room and kitchen.

The applicant has applied to build a single storey extension to the rear which would provide a family room and a new downstairs toilet for the home.

It is understood the existing garage would be converted into storage space.

The plan for the home in Colemans Moor Road was submitted earlier this month, and can be seen using reference 221146 on Wokingham Borough Council’s planning portal.

The application is likely to be decided by the council's planning department, unless it is listed by a ward councillor.

If the application is listed, it is then determined by the council’s planning committee.

Members of the public are encouraged to raise concerns with planning applications to borough councillors who represent their areas.
