Paul Ince has made two changes for the Royals as Swansea City travel to RG2.
Reading won 2-1 against Sheffield United on Good Friday, with a last-minute winner at Bramall Lane from Tom McIntyre.
The Academy graduate plays in his more natural position of centre-back today, instead of holding midfield in Yorkshire, as Tom Dele-Bashiru comes in from the start.
The other change sees fellow Academy graduate Tom Holmes drop out and Junior Hoilett return from the start.
In good news, fan favourite Yakou Meite returns to the squad after his injury against Blackburn Rovers.
Former Barcelona midfielder Alen Halilovic makes his first squad appearance under Ince and starts on the bench.
