A man armed with a knife stole cash from a business in Tilehurst.
The burglar left on foot in School Road towards Armour Road shortly after 5.50pm on Wednesday (March 23).
The man is described as white, of slim build, around 5ft 10-11ins tall, wearing a dark blue or black T-shirt and black trousers and carrying a black rucksack over one shoulder.

Sergeant Sam Toulson, based at Reading police station, said: “I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident or have information about it to please get in touch.
“Also, if you have any CCTV footage or any dash-cam footage if you were in the area around the time, I’d also ask that you check any recordings in case it has captured something that could assist our investigation.
