Berkshire drivers will see several motorway closures which will affect them this weekend, according to National Highways England.

This is mostly due to essential carriageway resurfacing and other repairs.

If you are set to be travelling within these areas at that sort of time, then take note of what diversions will be in place.

Here’s a list of all of the closures from Friday, February 25 to Monday, February 28.

What are the M4 closures this weekend from Friday, February 25?

M4 Eastbound

Junction 17 Entry and exit slip road

When?: Friday 9 pm to Saturday 6 am

Why is it closed?: The entry and exit slips are closed for surveys

Are there any diversions?: Diversion via Junction 18 and return or Junction 16.

Prince of Wales Bridge

When?: Friday 9 pm to Saturday 6 am

Why is it closed?: It is closed overnight for bridge maintenance and also includes the westbound safety lane closure.

Are there any diversions?: Diversion via M48 Severn Bridge.

Junction 4B to 3 Carriageway, Link road and entry slip road 

When?: Friday 11 pm to Monday 5.30 am

Why is it closed?: It is closed for smart motorway works

Are there any diversions?: Diversion via Highways England network and Local Authority roads

M4 Westbound

Junction 4 Entry slip road

When?: Friday 11 pm to Monday 5.30 am

Why is it closed?: It is closed for smart motorway works

When?: Friday 11 pm to Monday 5.30 am

Why is it closed?: It is closed for smart motorway works

M4 both directions

M25 Clockwise Junction 15 to M4 Eastbound Junction 4B Carriageway, Link road and entry slip road 

When?: Friday 11 pm to Monday 5.30 am

Why is it closed?: It is closed for smart motorway works
