A 38-year-old man will appear in Reading Crown Court charged with kidnap, rape and causing actual bodily harm.
Brian Ncube, of Stokingway Close, Plymouth, was arrested by Thames Valley Police on Friday and charged on Sunday (February 13).
Some of the charges relate to incidents which took place in Reading, police said.
The charges include assault by beating, engaging in controlling/coercive behaviour and stalking involving serious alarm/distress.

He was also charged with harassment without violence, theft, and two counts of possession of ammunition for a firearm.
The charges relate to incidents between October 10, 2021 and February 11, 2022.
Ncube has been remanded in custody to appear at Reading Crown Court on March 14.
