Having rowed six miles in London and cycled to Reading in day one, his day two began with a 1,000 metre swim in the Redgrave Pinsent Rowing Lake in Caversham before cycling through Reading towards Southampton.
Starting at 10am, his drizzly cycle saw him head down Henley Road before crossing Caversham Bridge and heading toward the Bath Road.
The rest of the route will see him pass Burghfield, Tadley and Kingsclere heading to the south coast.
Once in Southampton he will cycle 130 miles to Bovey Castle, the venue of his wedding, before finishing the challenge with a 30 mile run to Plymouth.
He was met with hoards of people outside Queen Anne's School, Henley Road, as pipils lined the streets to wish the Olympian well.
Head, Elaine Purves, said “We were thrilled to be able to cheer Tom on as he passed Queen Anne’s and wish him all the best for his onward journey!”
