Road resurfacing works in Oxford Road in December 2021
Work began on the first of 281 roads being resurfaced in Reading over the next four months.
Work began this morning on Glebe Road, Highgrove Street, Valentia Road, Audley Street, as part of Reading Borough Council's three-year £9m highways programme.
An additional 34 pavements will also be completed by the end of March, in what the council called its “most intensive and biggest ever road improvement project.”
