Reading FC fans have been left in the lurch after the club's mid-February clash with Peterborough was postponed for the second time.

Originally scheduled for Boxing Day, the game was delayed indefinitely due to the Royals' festive period Covid outbreak. On December 30th a new date for the match was announced - Tuesday, February 15th with kick-off at 7:45PM.

Now, though, under three weeks before the game is set to take place, it has been rescheduled once again for the following night, February 16thΒ at 7:45PM.

The change has been made as the game with major relegation implications has been chosen for live Sky Sports coverage. But it has also left Reading fans who had schedued for the Tuesday night trip having to hurry and re-assess their plans.

Fans have purchased tickets for the game, train tickets, and arranged time off under the premise of the Tuesday night date but now those plans have been made useless.

Understandably, many Royals are not happy.
