The following cases were heard at Reading Magistrates’ Court:

January 4

BOGDAN AVRAM, 31, of Russell Street, Reading, admitted drink driving on Loddon Bridge Road, Woodley, on December 11, 2021. Caught with 71 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the limit being 35mcg per 100ml. Banned from driving for 18 months. Fined £346. Made to pay £119 in court fees. 
MUTHUKUMAR NAGARATHNAM, 44, of Millers Grove, Woodley, admitted drink driving in a Maserati Levante on Chalfont Way, Lower Earley, Reading, on December 10, 2021. Caught with 56 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the limit being 35 mcg per 100ml. Banned from driving for 12 months. Fined £800. Made to pay £165 in court fees. 
SAHAR JAVED, 35, of Reading Road, Winnersh, convicted of assault by beating in Windsor on October 26, 2019. Community order made. Requirement to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work. Must pay compensation of £200 and £870 in court fees. 

January 5

JOHN SLADE, 70, of Corwen Road, Reading, admitted destroying a window belonging to a fire station in Reading to the value of up to £1,000 on May 2, 2021. Conditional discharge for six months. Made to pay a victim surcharge of £22. 

January 6

CALLUM BROWN, 19, of Dickens Walk, Newbury, admitted assaulting an emergency worker, namely a police constable, on Station Road, Thatcham, on March 21, 2021. Community order made. Requirement to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work. Must pay compensation of £40. 
AQUEEDAH CARRINGTON, 24, of Basingstoke Road, Reading, admitted two counts of breaching a domestic violence protection order in Reading on December 31, 2021 and January 5, 2022. Fined £200. 
AREEB UDIN, 23, of Carey Street, Reading, admitted driving under the influence of cannabis on Cow Lane, Reading, on June 30, 2021. Banned from driving for one year. Fined £120 and made to pay court fees of £119. 
IVAN VETRONOV, 52, of Eccles Close, Caversham, admitted driving without insurance on George Street, Reading, on April 10, 2021. Handed six points on driving licence. Fined £266 and made to pay £119 in court fees.

January 7

CONNOR FACEY, 29, of De Montfort Road, Reading, admitted driving under the influence of cannabis on May 23, 2020 on the A33 Swallowfield bypass. Community order made. Requirement to carry out 200 hours of unpaid work. Banned from driving for three years. Must pay £180 in court fees. 
LUKE HEASLEWOOD, 35, of Market Place, Newbury, convicted of disclosing private and sexual photographs and films of a person with intent to cause distress in Newbury between June 5, 2019 and June 10, 2019. Committed to prison for 26 weeks suspended for 18 months due to ‘deliberate sharing of intimacy video and distress caused to the victim’. Requirement to carry out 180 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. Must pay court fees of £445. 
RICHARD SEARS, 52, of The Crescent, Theale, Reading, convicted of breaching a 40mph speed limit of Bath Road, Calcot on December 21, 2020. The speed recorded was 49mph. Handed three points on licence. Fined £220 and made to pay £334 in court fees.
