Reading FC manager Veljko Paunovic has made three changes from Saturday's team that was beaten at the death by Middlesbrough.

With the expiry of Andy Carroll's contract following the weekend's away trip, the striker is not eligible to be in tonight's squad and instead it will be much-maligned forward George Puscas taking his place.

In better news, experienced centre-back Michael Morrison is fit enough to start and he'll wear the captain's armband with Liam Moore stripped of the honour over the weekend. The return of Morrison means that Josh Laurent can start in his more natural central midfield position alongside Danny Drinkwater and Andy Rinomhota.

Academy graduate Tyrell Ashcroft has recovered from the concussion that forced him off at half-time against Derby County, coming into the side for Dejan Tetek.

Junior Hoilett, who suffered a hamstring injury at Middlesbrough is absent from the squad entirely as he looks to recover from that ailment.
