A learner driver has had their car seized in Reading again after being caught driving unaccompanied.
Stopped at the A33 roundabout, the car was pulled into Bennet Road where the Thames Valley Police discovered that the driver was found to be a learner with no L plates displayed and nobody else in the car.
British law requires learner drivers to be supervised by a qualified driver who is older than 21 and has held a full UK driving licence for at least three years.
In another shocking discovery, the individual has been stopped and had their car seized three times in as many weeks.
Enquiries are ongoing with the Motor Insurers Bureau (MIB) and the drivers insurance company to ascertain if they will honour the cover.
The driver received another three points on their licence and £100 fine, on top of the £150 fee to recover the vehicle and six points already built up on the licence.
