THREE people have been taken to hospital following a crash near Wargrave.

The crash happened at 10.40am on Monday, January 10 on Wargrave Road, Remenham.

Fire crews from Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service rushed to the scene.

They found two cars smashed up on the road and rescued three people out of them.

A spokesman from RBFRS said: "Crews worked to make the vehicles and scene safe and three casualties were placed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.

"Crews were on the scene for approximately 51 minutes."
