Unsurprisingly scores are low across the board as Reading get hit for seven by Fulham at the Select Car Leasing Stadium.

It was Reading's heaviest home league defeat since joining the Football League in 1920, and comes just days after exiting the FA Cup at the hands of non-league Kidderminster Harriers.

Youngsters Mamadi Camara and Luke Southwood remain the only two with any credit, with the goalkeeper helpless to stop most of the seven and the wideman one of few to keep going right until the final whistle.

Luke Southwood- 5 Kept busy throughout and was left helpless for the goals. Did nothing out of the ordinary but did nothing to draw attention to himself. Solid performance for a losing goalkeeper. As the goals flew past the keeper could do nothing as the score continued to rack up.

Dejan Tetek- 5 With Fulham targeting the wide areas, the Serbian was kept busy. Again did nothing  poorly and put himself about in the tackle. Pulled for Rinohmota shortly after half time.

Tom Holmes- 4 Poor decision to go to ground for the penalty and found himself beaten too many times, however he had little support from Bristow. No defender can come out looking good after shipping seven.

Dann- n/a- Subbed off injured after six minutes.

Ethan Bristow-4 Constantly targeted and struggled defensively throughout. Harry Wilson beat him consistently in the second half as the goals flew in.

Danny Drinkwater-4 Poor by his standards. Lost the ball on countless occasions and always put his teammates under pressure when receiving the ball. Was pulled for George Puscas as Veljko Paunovic attempted to claw something from the game.

Josh Laurent- 4 Poor mistake for the opening goal. Looked to charge out of defence on the odd occasion but generally struggled out of position. Continued to look shaky in the second half as the goals kept coming for the visitors.

Tom Dele-Bashiru-4 Struggled to make much of an impact. Tidy on the ball but not in any dangerous areas. Similar to any offensive player in the second half, did nothing but reach the half way line and lose possession.

John Swift- 4 Very quiet by his standards. Dropping deep to receive the ball but very ineffective. Lacking his early season creative spark. As the game progressed the talisman became non-existent.

Junior Hoilett- 4 Very bright when receiving the ball in the first half. Linked up well with Carroll, finding the striker on multiple occasions. Had nothing but defending to do in the second half.

Andy Carroll- 4 Put the ball in the net twice, in fantastic fashion, however strayed offside for both. Build up play and close control of high quality in the first half but had no service in the second half and spent most of the period marking the posts from corners.

Substitutions

Mamadi Camara- 5 The only relatively bright spark on the pitch. Could have scored a goal in the first half from a neat back heel. Second half was tough on the youngster as defending is not his natural thought.

Andy Rinohmota- 4 Forced to play at full-back to begin with but moved forward as the score racked up against the side. Plenty of energy but added nothing to the game.

George Puscas- 4 Brought on with no hope of claiming anything and duly achieved nothing. Non-existent on the pitch except for one counter-attack which saw him tackled before creating any danger for the visitors.
