POLICE are currently searching for a man after he was seen in the River Thames by Caversham Bridge this morning.
A major search and rescue operation is underway following calls at around 10.25am today (January 10) that a man was seen in the water.
Officers are currently working with other emergency services to try and locate the man.

Police said: "He is described as an Asian man, in his thirties, with a beard, wearing a black puffa-style jacket.
"If anyone has seen this man, or believe they know who he may be, please get in touch by calling 101, quoting incident 438 of 10 January."
