Reading FC are now set to be without a game for the weekend of February 5th after they were knocked out of the FA Cup by Kidderminster Harriers.

Originally slated to play Stoke City in the Championship on the 5th of February, the placement of the FA Cup fourth round fixtures means that only those without cup commitments will be playing.

While that includes Reading, embarrassingly dumped out of the competition by sixth-tier Kidderminster on Saturday, Stoke managed to get through with a 2-0 victory against Leyton Orient.

The club has announced that a new date for the Stoke game will be announced in due course.

Reading are back in action on Tuesday night when they host Fulham in another crucial Championship clash.

The Cottagers come into the game on the back of mediocre form themselves having won none of the previous five league matches. Still, they sit 3rd in the table and it will be a major challenge for Veljko Paunovic and his team to get anything from their promotion-chasing visitors.
