Reading FC have confirmed that their clash with Fulham at the Select Car Leasing Stadium has been rescheduled for Tuesday, January 11th, 2022, with kick off at 8PM.
Inititally set for December 29th, the Royals announced this week that the game had to be postponed due to continued effects from the Covid outbreak that also saw their fixtures against Luton Town and Peterbrorough postponed.
Tickets issued for the original date with Fulham are valid for the rearranged fixture while those who can not attend the new date are entitled to a full refund.
Veljko Paunovic's side now face a busy week upon their return from this enforced break with games against Derby County, Kidderminster Harriers in the FA Cup, and now Fulham in the space of eight days.
In addition to the players coming back from Covid isolation and recovery, the hope is that Reading's deep injury crisis will have abated slughtly over the past weeks of relative idleness.
