This evening Reading FC will find out their opponent for the third round of the FA Cup. The draw will be shown live on ITV4 at 7PM prior to the final tie of the second round between St. Albans City and Boreham Wood.

Along with Reading, the rest of the 24 Championship sides as well as the 20 teams in the Premier League - including last season's winners Leicester City - will be entering the world’s oldest cup competition at this stage alongside the remaining lower league clubs.

The third round fixtures will take place on the weekend of Friday, January 7th to Monday, January 10th. As well as a place in the fourth round, the victors of each third round tie will take home £82,000 in prize money.

Last season, Reading bowed out of the FA Cup at this first hurdle, losing 1-0 to Luton Town.
