Henry

Reading Chronicle:

Henry is a lively and active dog- when he first meets new people he can be worried and a bit apprehensive, but when he gets to know you his loving and scatty side shines through - he absolutely loves curling up together with his bonded people.

Typical for his breed he likes a good chase, so for the foreseeable future, he will need to be muzzled and on lead when out for walks.

Henry has shown to be very scared of men in particular and is currently looking to live in a home with female owners only. He is however, working well with training in place and slowly making friends with men at Battersea, Old Windsor.

Taz

Reading Chronicle:

Taz is a charming character, but can find some situations overwhelming. He is looking for experienced owners that will be able to spend plenty of time with him and manage the areas of life he find difficult.

He will need a quiet, adult-only home with people who will allow him to get used to his new environment gradually.

Koby

Reading Chronicle:

Koby is a big sensitive dog, full of energy and affection with people he trusts. He is still young and will need a lot of ongoing training by whoever rehomes him.

Koby is vocal and will bark or whine regularly. It is not clear whether he does this when impatient, unsure of something or just when he is excited. New owners will need to take this into account and be aware that this could impact on their neighbours.

Pat

Reading Chronicle:

Pat is a fun and affectionate dog who loves being around people. He is great with both people and dogs.

He enjoys a chase game with other dogs - he may be able to live with an existing dog in his new home, another Sighthound would be ideal but he is not able to live with smaller dogs.

Pat will need patient owners who will give him time and space as he settles into a home, as he has previously not lived in one before. He is a very charming lad who is sure to make a wonderful family pet.

Bella & Poppy

Reading Chronicle:

Poppy and Bella are good friends and looking for a home together. Both are active and love their walks, they have great amounts of fun off lead running around.

They are affectionate once they get to know people - they can both be wary of new people but with the right approach, they are loving and really enjoy company.

They adore human company and have previously struggled when left alone and so need owners who are at home for the majority of the time so that they do not need to be left on their own.

Archie

Reading Chronicle:

Archie is a sweet and lovable dog who is looking for an experienced home with some knowledge of the Chihuahua or Terrier breed.

He is lots of fun and has plenty of character and will keep his new owners on their toes!

Archie has a cataract in one of his eyes and this means he cannot see out of this eye, although has sight in his left eye. As Archie is visually impaired in one of his eyes and can be easily startled or worried, so is looking for a steady and consistent home. He is a friendly dog and enjoys attention from people.

Bruce

Reading Chronicle:

Bruce has a lovely nature and absolutely loves to receive fuss and affection. Although he is strong at times and can become excitable, he is overall a gentle character and is looking for a fun and caring home with owners who have had some experience around Bull breeds.

Bruce does have some issues with livestock and wildlife and will need to be muzzled and onlead at all times during his walks. He can be strong and stubborn on lead so will need owners physically able to walk him.

Bobby

Reading Chronicle:

Bobby is a wonderful dog who has plenty of energy and enthusiasm for life but is also vocal at times and currently finds being left alone overwhelming.

He is playful with toys and enjoys a game with people but is also happy to entertain himself with toys. He is a very bright, busy and active dog so must have an environment and owners who can match this.
