The following cases were heard at Reading Magistrates’ Court: 

November 8

JUSTIN CLIFT, 33, of Salcombe Road, Reading, admitted racially and religiously aggravated harassment with intent to cause alarm or distress in Reading on March 9, 2021. Committed to prison for ten weeks due to the severity of the offence and because offender has a ‘flagrant disregard for court orders’. Made to pay £100 compensation. 
KALLUM WARWICK, 28, of Granville Road, Southcote, Reading, admitted driving whilst disqualified and driving without a licence in Reading on September 16, 2019. Committed to prison for 12 weeks suspended for 18 months due to the severity of the offence. Banned from obtaining a driving licence for 18 months. Must pay a £122 victim surcharge and £630 in court costs. 
GEORGE MAINA, 38, of Kelvin Close, Arborfield, Reading, convicted of drink driving on Park Lane, Finchampstead, on August 15, 2020. Caught with 170 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood, the limit being 80mg per 100ml. Also admitted to failing to surrender at Reading Magistrates’ Court on September 3, 2021. Banned from driving for 19 months. Fined £230, must pay a £34 victim surcharge and ordered to pay £180 in court fees. 

November 9

NICOLA DICKSON, 41, of Broad Hinton, Twyford, Reading, admitted drink driving and driving without due care and attention on Kiln Lane, Bourne End and Lower Cookham Road, Maidenhead, on October 10, 2020. Caught with 156 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood, the limit being 80mg per 100ml. Driving record endorsed with ten points. Fined £900, made to pay a £90 victim surcharge and ordered to pay £620 in court costs. 

November 10

BIONDINO FAPPIANO, 39, of Prince of Wales Avenue, Reading, admitted theft from a shop, namely a hole saw set worth £69.99 from Screwfix and assault by beating in Reading on October 7, 2019. Also admitted stealing four car tyres worth £2,100 afrom Lexus car dealership in Reading on March 8, 2019. Admitted refusing to provide a blood sample when requested, driving without a licence, driving without insurance and driving without the consent of the owner on October 18, 2019. Community order made. Requirement to take part in up to 20 rehabilitation activity days. Banned from driving for 12 months. Must pay compensation of £275, a victim surcharge of £95 and court costs of £600.
