The following cases were heard at Reading Magistrates’ Court: 

October 14

NARESH NANDA, 39, of Macs Close, Padworth admitted driving under the influence of cocaine on the M4 between Junction 10 and 11 on April 10, 2021. Committed to prison for four months due to the severity of the offence. Banned from driving for four years. Ordered to pay a £120 victim surcharge. 
VINCENT JONES, 58, of Bramshaw Road, Tilehurst, Reading, convicted of two counts of using threatening or abusive words likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Reading on February 19, 2021. Fined £122, made to pay compensation of £175 and ordered to pay £334 in court fees. 

October 15

GARY URWIN, 54, of George Street, Reading, admitted breaching a non-molestation order in Reading on February 25, 2021. Fined £400 and ordered to pay £240 in court fees. 
AMANDA BASDEN, 41, of Coronation Square, Reading, admitted four counts of fraud by false representation, namely telling four people her child was sick and she needed money to get to Royal Berkshire Hospital in Calcot on April 5 and April 6, 2021. Committed to prison for 30 weeks as offences were committed during the period of a community sentence. Must pay a victim surcharge of £158. 

October 18

MATEUSZ WRZESZCZ, 28, of Beecham Road, Reading, admitted speeding on London Road, Reading, namely going 39mph in a 30mph zone, on September 13, 2020. Fined £100 and ordered to pay £219 in court fees. 
KATHLEEN CAMERON, 39, of Willow Street, Reading, admitted breaching the requirements of a community order on four occasions in September and October 2021. Ordered to pay court costs of £20. 
DAWN LYNCH, 47, of Crescent Road, Reading, admitted breaching the requirements of a community order on three occasions in June and July 2021. Ordered to pay courts costs of £40.
