The following cases were heard at Reading Magistrates’ Court: 

October 7

DANIELLE COURTNAGE, 36, of St Peters Hill, Caversham, Reading, admitted theft from a shop, namely theft of alcohol worth £21.14 from B&M in Reading on May 7, 2021. Conditional discharge for 18 months. Must pay £200 in court fees. 
JASON VINTON, 47, of Wokingham Road, Reading, admitted fraud by false representation, namely buying scratchcards using a bank card belonging to someone else, in Reading on July 21, 2021. Conditional discharge for 12 months. 

October 8

LAURENTIO STINGACIU, 26, of St Peters Road, Reading, admitted driving whilst disqualified and driving without a licence on Ogden Park, Bracknell on January 10, 2021. Banned from obtaining a licence for 12 months and fined £200. Must pay £119 in court fees. 
ALEXANDRA HAMES, 21, of Redhatch Drive, Earley, admitted possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, namely possession of a knuckle duster at Reading railway station on August 18, 2021. Community order made. Requirement to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work. Must pay £180 in court fees. 
LIAM LIGHTOWLER, 25, of Mylum Close, Reading, admitted assault by beating in Reading on August 6, 2021. Committed to prison for 16 weeks as offence was a ‘a deliberate attack on a public servant carrying out public duties.’ Must pay a victim surcharge of £128. 

October 11

PHILIP DUELL, 42, of Park View, Reading, admitted five counts of theft from a shop, namely meat and household products from Co-op in Shinfield, between September 17, 2020 and October 6, 2020. Community order made. Must carry out 100 hours of unpaid work. Ordered to pay £175 in compensation. 
JEROME SISYA, 49, of Thirlmere Avenue, Reading, admitted drink driving on Oxford Road, Reading, on January 28, 2021. Caught with 91 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the limit being 35mcg per 100ml. Banned from driving for three months, fined £200 and ordered to pay £119 in court fees. 

October 12

ADAM MARRIOTT, 27, of Broomfield Road, Tilehurst, admitted drink driving on the A329M in Reading on September 25, 2021. Caught with 56 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the limit being 35mcg per 100ml. Banned from driving for 15 months, fined £200 and must pay £119 in court fees. 

October 13

ALBERT TODD, 51, of Southampton Street, Reading, convicted of assault by beating in Reading on July 15, 2020. Community order made. Must take part in up to 30 rehabilitation activity days. Ordered to pay court fees of £200.
