The following cases were heard at Reading Magistrates’ Court:

August 23

DONOVAN LEE, 48, of Wensley Road, Reading, admitted driving under the influence of cocaine, driving whilst disqualified, possession of cocaine, possession of cannabis, driving without insurance and driving under the influence of benzoylecgonine in Slough on June 26, 2020. Given a community order to take part in rehabilitation activity days. Must pay £295 in court fees. Banned from driving for two years. 

August 24

MAX TUSON, 31, of Corwen Road, Tilehurst, Reading, convicted of assault by beating in Wokingham on September 11, 2020. Given a community order to carry out 220 hours of unpaid work. Must pay £500 compensation and £370 in court fees. 
AMANDA BASDEN, 41, of Coronation Square, Reading, admitted theft from a shop, namely perfumes to the value of £204 from Boots in Bracknell, on November 29, 2019. Fined £40 and ordered to pay a £32 victim surcharge. 

August 26

MARTIN PORTER, 29, of Don Close, Tilehurst, Reading, convicted of causing criminal damage to a property, namely a car bonnet to the value of £60. Also convicted of possession of a blade in a public place, namely an axe in Reading, on August 7, 2020. Sentenced to six months in prison suspended for 12 months. Restraining order made barring contact with the victim. Must pay compensation of £100 and court fees of £897.

August 28

CAVAN GRUBER, 20, of Mason Street, Reading, admitted possession of cannabis at Paddington Station, London, on April 20, 2021. Fined £80 and must pay £119 in court fees. 

August 30

TANER MUSTAFOV, 29, of Cavendish Road, Caversham, Reading, admitted driving under the influence of cannabis, driving without insurance, and driving without a licence in Reading on January 31, 2021. Fined £333 and ordered to pay £119 in court fees. Banned from driving for two years.
LANZO LEWIS, 45, of Grovelands Road, Reading, admitted two counts of racially and religiously aggravated harassment with intent to cause distress, and obstructed a police officer in Marlow, Buckinghamshire on September 1, 2020. Sentenced to eight weeks in prison suspended for 18 months. Ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work. Must pay £200 compensation and £478 in court fees.

September 1

KATHLEEN CAMERON, 38, of Willow Street, Reading, admitted assault by beating in Reading on July 21, 2019. Convicted of racially and religiously aggravated harassment with intent to cause distress in Wokingham on March 6, 2020. Given a community order and must take part in 20 rehabilitation activity days. Ordered to pay compensation of £90. 
ADAM BROCKLEHURST, 47, of Headley Close, Woodley, admitted drink-driving on Wokingham Road, Reading, on May 14, 2021. Caught with 147 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the limit being 35mcg per 100ml. Given a community order including a requirement to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work. Must pay court fees of £180. Banned from driving for 12 months. 
DANIEL LOKES, 46, of Willow Street, Reading, admitted 17 counts of theft from a shop, namely meat products and detergent, from Sainsbury’s in Shinfield, between May 3, 2021 and June 2, 2021. Given a community order to take part in up to 30 rehabilitation activity days. 
RYAN HALL, 36, of Wincanton Road, Reading, admitted three counts of theft from a shop, namely laundry gel tablets, meat products, and baby formula, from Co-Operative in Shinfield, between June 25, 2020 and July 30, 2020. Given a community order to take part in up to 20 days of rehabilitation activities. Must pay a £90 victim surcharge. 
JADE FULLER, 27, of Richfield Avenue, Reading, admitted possession of a knife on Broad Street, Reading, on October 19, 2020. Given a community order to take part in up to 15 rehabilitation activity days. Must pay £180 in court fees.
